The team members at each property are the heart and soul of Columbia Hospitality. Our human resources department provides the necessary support to develop an enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate team. Our support services include:
- Managing new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting for all properties
- Managing recruitment process and selection
- Administering benefits for life, health, dental, and disability insurances, 401K plan, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence, and employee assistance
- Administering wage programs and employee satisfaction programs through equitable wages and safe, pleasant working conditions
- Facilitating compliance with all legal requirements and government reporting regulations that affect HR functions, policies, and procedures
- Training managers and supervisors in interpersonal communications
- Managing and resolving employee issues such as personnel problems and co-worker conflicts
- Implementing motivational programs for the staff
