Out with the old and in with the new; corporate events are transitioning from being all about the food to spotlighting the overall experience. Bell Harbor understands this concept and tailors their center to accommodate event planner’s zaniest themed parties. “The aim is to make the event memorable,” says Terry Halvorson, director of conference services for Bell Harbor International Conference Center.

Bell Harbor is expanding their resume to include more non-traditional clientele. According to Shelley Tomberg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Columbia Hospitality, fifteen percent of planners are looking to use Bell Harbor International Conference Center for more unique events. “Whether it means bringing in more displays and exhibits or buying out the whole center to transform it into something for their own,” Bell Harbor is growing in popularity because it “bridges the gap between a hotel, which is better for a smaller meeting, and a convention center.”
