Columbia’s corporate marketing team includes seasoned experts in hospitality sales, marketing, advertising concepting and design, internet marketing, public relations and revenue management.  This team oversees and directs the sales activities and marketing programs for each Columbia property. 

Through Columbia’s group purchasing power, we are able to provide lower-cost services to independent properties including reduced trade show fees, advertising, public relations and other general marketing expenses.  A list of our basic sales and marketing services is below, however, customized marketing plans can be created as needed.

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of annual marketing and sales plan, budget, and goals
  • Manage adherence to marketing and sales budgets throughout the year
  • Evaluate and create booking guidelines and booking pace reports
  • Oversee the preparation of realistic sales and profit forecasts
