A passionate hospitality professional, Greg Prescott's industry knowledge and experience is diverse and well-rounded, including business development, operations, human resources, and talent acquisition. One of Greg's primary focuses is the executive search arm of Columbia's business, which includes sourcing the best hospitality talent across the globe to bring significant value to our clients. Since this line of business began Greg and his team have earned a 100% placement rate along with 80% of all placements still employed to present day. Greg has been in recruitment for close to a decade and has led the effort to place more than 6,000 individuals internally during a time where Columbia increased its portfolio to 30 managed properties. Greg possesses a strong operations-based background across many disciplines throughout the hospitality sphere, allowing him to support recruitment efforts across many verticals including hotels, distinctive venues, golf and private clubs as well as residential.
Greg, a Columbia Hospitality veteran, joined the company in 2011 when he was selected as the food and beverage manager at Salish Lodge & Spa. He subsequently served as the rooms division manager at Salish Lodge as well as recruiter, talent manager, director of new business development, and director of organizational development for Columbia.
Greg earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University. In 2016, he was honored by 425 Business Magazine as a 30 under 30 awardee and One to Watch. In 2017, he received the same honors from Hotel Management Magazine. Greg works remotely from Bend, OR; providing a strong presence in the Central Oregon region where Columbia Hospitality is exploring several growth opportunities.
